Definitions

RED QuartersLocated at 26 & 28 Jalan Benaan Kapal, Singapore 399629 & 399630, it is a property managed by Coldcut Pte Ltd.

Intended
Purpose
The intended purpose of RED Quarters is for use as courts to play floorball and pickleball.
CustomerMember of the public who make the booking with Coldcut for the use of RED Quarters.
Booked
Timeslot
Refers to the timing in which the customer has booked RED
Quarters for the intended purpose.
Other UsersOther users are members of the public invited by the customer during
the customer’s booked timeslot.

RED Quarters, located at 26 & 28 Jalan Benaan Kapal, Singapore 399629 & 399630, is a property managed by Coldcut Pte Ltd (Singapore registration number 202016715N).

Rules & Regulations

1. Kindly take care of your own personal belongings as we will not be responsible for stolen items.

2. Consumption of food and drinks are strictly at the rest areas. Kindly clean up after yourself. A cleaning fee may be imposed if the rest areas and other parts of the premises are found to be dirty and messy.

3. Please ensure that the premises are kept clean, dry and litter free after your session. A cleaning fee may be imposed if the rest areas and other parts of the premises are found to be dirty and messy.

4. Only non-marking shoes are to be used on the court. A cleaning fee may be imposed if the rest areas and other parts of the premises are found to be dirty and messy.

5. Smoking and gambling are strictly prohibited. Defaulters may be banned from RED Quarters and reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Consumption of alcohol is prohibited. Defaulters may be banned from RED Quarters and reported to the relevant authorities.

7. Behave appropriately to prevent any disturbances. Defaulters may be banned from RED Quarters and reported to the relevant authorities.

8. Adhere strictly to your booked timing. Leave the court in a timely manner. Additional charges may be imposed if there is an extension of play.

9. The government and Sport Singapore’s prevailing COVID-19 Safe Management Measures must be adhered to strictly. Defaulters may be banned from RED Quarters and reported to the relevant authorities.

10. RED Quarters will close 15 min after the last booked session. Everyone must leave the premises by then.

Terms & Conditions

11. Bookings are subject to the approval of Coldcut. Coldcut reserves the right to accept, refuse or reject any booking without providing a reason.

12. The Customer is fully responsible for Other Users during the Customer’s booked session.

13. Coldcut reserves the right to inspect and cancel, at any time without refund, should the event/activity be deemed as deviating from the RED Quarters’ intended purpose or which contravenes these terms and conditions.

14. Should the Customer require to book RED Quarters for any other purpose than the intended purpose of floorball or pickleball, the Customer must seek prior written approval from the management of Coldcut.

15. Coldcut reserves the right to cancel the event immediately without refund or impose charges on the customer if any of the facilities/venue and furnishing/equipment is damaged by the customer or any of the other users.

16. The customer cannot book RED Quarters for commercial, i.e. revenue generating or for profit, use without approval from Coldcut. Commercial use includes coaching, training programmes, clinics, competitions and all others where monies are collected for revenue or profit. To find out about commercial booking rates, send an email to general@bycoldcut.com. If a customer is found to have booked RED Quarters for commercial use without approval, Coldcut reserves the right to collect payment of the full prevailing commercial rates. The customer may also be banned from booking in future.

17. The Customer shall be deemed to have actual and full notice of the state and condition of the facilities and the any furnishing/equipment provided as regards access, light, air, repair, temperature and in all respects. The customer shall take RED Quarters including all its furnishing/equipment on an “as is where is” basis and shall not be entitled to make any objection or claim any compensation from Coldcut for any loss or damage arising from the state or condition of the facilities/venue and/or furnishing/equipment.

18. Coldcut does not expressly or impliedly warrant that RED Quarters and/or its furnishing/equipment or any part thereof are or will remain suitable or adequate for all or any of the purposes of the applicant and all warranties (if any) as to the suitability or adequacy of RED Quarters and/or its items/equipment implied by law are hereby expressly excluded.

19. The Customer shall indemnify Coldcut against all claims, demands, actions and proceedings suffered or taken against Coldcut arising out of the customer’s infringement of copyright and/or any other intellectual property right due to or arising from the unauthorised use of any copyright and/or any other intellectual property right occurring during the period of use of RED Quarters, or otherwise in connection with the event/activity, or from any breach by the applicant of these terms and conditions.

20. The Customers is to ensure orderliness and discipline to prevent any kind of disturbances during the event/activity.

21. Consumption of food and drinks at RED Quarters is strictly confined to the rest areas. Large scale catering, example – buffet, is strictly not allowed. The Customer must ensure that the premises are kept clean, dry and litter free after the event/activity. A cleaning fee may be imposed if the rest areas and other parts of the premises are found to be dirty and messy.

22. All furnishing/equipment is to be packed up and rearranged to its original position if they were shifted during the booked session. The Customer will be made liable for any damage to furnishing/equipment.

23. The storage of personal property within RED Quarters will be at the sole risk of the Customer and Other Users. Coldcut will not be responsible for any damage or loss whatsoever and howsoever caused to such personal property.

24. Coldcut will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense suffered, claim or demand made in the event of any accident or injury suffered by any person in connection with usage of RED Quarters.

25. Any circumstance beyond the control of a party, which delays, interrupts or prevents the event/activity, shall be deemed to be an event of “Force Majeure”. Such circumstances shall include but are not limited to breach of the peace, epidemic, flood, fire, explosion, rain, lightning, storm, sabotage, power failure not due to either party’s fault, act of God, strike, picketing, lock-out and act of government authority. Should the event have to be cancelled due to an event of Force Majeure, Coldcut shall not be in default and the customer shall not be entitled to any refund, compensation, damages or any other recourse against Coldcut.

26. Any person other than the Customer, whether or not any benefit is conferred or purported to be conferred on him directly or indirectly, has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.

27. The Customer agrees and consents that the personal data provided in this form may be collected, used, processed and disclosed by Coldcut for the purposes of booking/administering the booking of RED Quarters. In respect of disclosure, the customer agrees that Coldcut may disclose the applicant’s personal data to third parties (who may be based in or outside of Singapore) where necessary for the purposes of booking/administering the booking of RED Quarters.

28. The Customer agrees and consents that photos and videos may be taken during the booked session. These will be used for the purposes of marketing such as social media and advertising where necessary. If the Customer disagrees to photos and videos being taken, an email stating so needs to be sent to booking@bycoldcut.com

29. Coldcut reserves the right to cancel the booking of a Customer at any time. If this is done, the Customer will be refunded the value of the booking.

Cancellations / Store Credits / Gift Cards

29. Coldcut does not refund in cash.

30. Store credits will be given for cancellations according to the following:

  • More than 7 days from date of booked session – 100%
  • Less than 7 days but at least 3 days before booked session – 50%
  • Less than 3 days from booked session – 0%

31. Store credits must be used within 30 days from the date the refund is approved.

32. Store credits will be forfeited if they have expired.

33. Gift cards have a validity period of 90 days.

34. Gift cards will be forfeited if they have expired.

35. Store credits and gift cards are non-transferable and non-replaceable.

Block Bookings, Pre-Bookings & Release of Calendar

  1. RED Quarters does not permit any block bookings (referred to as a regular, constant booking of a certain timeslot on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis).
  2. Every booking time slot is at the start of the hour and customers can book multiple timeslots consecutively up to 3 hours per day per Customer.
  3. For pre-bookings (by schools, corporates, or for personal events), contact general@bycoldcut.com or to send a WhatsApp message to +65 9844 6228.
  4. RED Quarters accepts bookings are available up until the end of the current month. The following month’s calendar will be released for public bookings on the 15th of every month at 12pm.
  5. All bookings are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Equipment Rental – Sticks, Paddles and Balls

41. All rental equipment are only to be used during your booking.
42. If there is unauthorised usage, the crew will have the right to take back the equipment and no refund will be entertained.
43. If there is unauthorised usage and/or if the equipment is wilfully damaged, the person renting it will be made liable for the full retail price of the equipment (to be advised by Coldcut).
